Chess pieces Order of Crusaders in alabaster and resin hand-painted

32 alabaster and resin handmade and hand painted chess pieces depicting the colors and clothes that characterize the four orders of the Crusaders.

The two orders characterized by the color red, the Knights of Malta with red cloak and the White Cross, the Templars have the Red Cross in the background of the white coat.

The other two orders are distinguished from black and white: the Teutonic knights are the ones with Black Cross on a white background, and the Hospitallers have the white cross on the background of the coat and black shield.

The piece of the King is depicted with the crown and the gown in iron mesh while looking at the mantle you identify the order he belongs to. The chess piece of the Queen stands out with the veil and the same colors. The bishop is represented by the clergy, who had a leading role in the Crusades. The Horse is a small sculpture jewel: you can note the details of the shield of arms of the horse and the coat that brings the two colors of the order. The tower is reminiscent of the typical towers of the castles of the period, and the pawn is the warrior withcrusader shield.
