Chess pieces in alabaster and resin manufactured and painted by hand depicting the chess game of the Battle of Kazan and their protagonists: the Nogai knights or Tartars and the Russian garrison guided by Ivan the Terrible.
In the details of the pictures you can also notice the fine care for details of the traditional clothes of that era: the King, or Tsar, and the Russian Queen against the King, or Khan, and the Queen of the Tartars.
In the photos you can also appreciate the details of the two towers, which are a sign of unequivocal distinction between the two sides of the respective populations.
