It is produced by artisans in Tuscany by our master craftsmen with special processes what makes the surface very similar to the skin and shiny as a mirror; the color of ivory boxes give a special brightness that illuminates the combined game.

This coloration Ivory-Brown is the most classic which let you combine the wooden Chess Pieces to those who have an artistic antique effect in shades of brown. The box is a useful "handy hideaway" where to store temporarily your game.

The inside is made of heat sealed material covered with synthetic velvet: the color can be different from the one shown in the picture, but will still have the same characteristics.

You can also appreciate the detail of the edge inserted by hand and decorated with a delicate ornamental motive different for the different available sizes.

The back of the board can be honey-colored, or have the base for the backgammon game: depends on availability.

Combine the Chess Board and Chess Pieces as you prefer!

Please note: because of workmanship, may happen that, by entering in the box some models of chesspieces, the top of the board does not fit with the box perfectly. If you want to be sure that the choosen chesspieces can be perfectly contained inside the box, ask us for informations.
