Chess pieces in alabaster and resin manufactured and painted by hand depicting the various teams, called "Magistrature", which are facing each other in the Game of the Bridge, the battle in historical costumes of the city of Pisa, held in Tuscany every year at the end of June. Each team can buy paired with any of the 6 other team of the opposite’s team Part. The real itself involves battles between teams of Tramontana and Mezzogiorno: one depicted with the white flag at the base of the chess piece, the other team with the black flag. In the details you can appreciate the bishop, the knight and the castle, represented with typical details of the game and the city and respectively: the bishop is the fighter, the one who "pushes the cart" of the Game of the Bridge, the cart can be appreciated shown in the center of the horse-Bridge, above the flag of the city. The bridge represents the horse of the chess game, and it is depicted as the “Ponte di Mezzo” the Middle Bridge, the central bridge of Pisa where the Watch tower overlooking. The Tower is pictured with the unquestioned symbol of the city of Pisa, the Leaning Tower, one of the seven wonders of the world.
